Grades 3-5

In 2017, the intermediate grades were supplied 1:1 Chromebooks for classroom use. Teachers model and facilitate numerous applications for daily learning. A personalized math program, DreamBox, is currently in use to aid and challenge students in mastering math concepts and raising math scores on an individual basis. Google Classroom allows students to access teacher directed material as needed and at their own pace. Grades 3-5 leave their Chromebooks at school while practicing how to hand in digital work with the guidance of a teacher. 

Keyboarding modules continue through grade 5. Google Docs is used in reading and writing classes as students begin constructing typed paragraphs and stories.  Chrome apps are used for interactive mastery of standards and as a collaboration tool.
