The administrative office maintains all files and records for the school. All correspondence, payments, receipts and school business is handled through this office.
Regular office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm through the school year. Office hours will vary during non-school days and during the summer months.
My name is Mrs. Lisa Thompson. I began my work with Danville Lutheran School in 2015 as an administrative assistant. Along with others, I helped move our office into a more digital world. We created and implemented new systems to better serve our families and promote the school.
I am a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a graduate of Danville Lutheran School. I attended Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School and Danville Area Community College before transferring to Illinois State University. There, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. Marketing and management were my focus.
I returned to Danville to begin a career and marry my high school sweetheart, Steve. My past jobs have included time in advertising and real estate. Steve and I have two children, and we are proud to say that they attend Trinity. We believe strongly in the academic and spiritual foundation they are receiving here. We can typically be found on the lake or at a drag strip through the summer. During the school year, the kids keep us busy with school sport activities as well as travel hockey.
I’m generally your first contact with the school and can answer many of your questions about admission, tuition, billing, making donations, fundraising, events, schedules and more! If I do not have the answer for you, I will get it.
I love being a part of a team that’s warm and caring. Interacting with the students is the best part of my day!
